Murray Hall Venue, Loughton, Essex – Funerals, Parties and Weddings

Are you searching for the perfect venue for a Christening, Funeral, Business Meeting, or Wedding in the Loughton area? Trini Caribbean Catering has had the pleasure of working at The Murray Hall numerous times, and it’s always a delightful experience!

About The Venue

The Murray Hall is a modern, high-specification community hall with a welcoming atmosphere. Named in honour of Lord Murray, a notable former Loughton resident, the hall is fully accessible for people with disabilities. It is available for hire for a wide range of events, including club nights, group activities, meetings, classes, wedding and family celebrations, theatre performances, and social occasions. The hall can be hired on a one-off basis or for regular events.

Facilities

The building features a large, airy hall of about 140 square meters with wooden flooring, ideal for dancing. Double doors open onto decking that overlooks an informal garden, which hirers are welcome to use. The hall can accommodate up to 100 people for seated events.

The landscaped garden at the rear is perfect for receptions, parties, and wedding photographs. Additionally, there is a fully fitted kitchen for food preparation and serving, and a bar area for hirers’ use. Parking is available at the front of the building. You are also allowed to choose your own caterer or bring in your own food.

Pricing and Booking

Prices start from £28.55 per hour for Private Hire and £58.10 for Standard Hire. Bookings are now being taken; if you would like to enquire about hiring the hall, either as a regular user or for a one-off event, contact Judy Graham at the Town Council on 020 8508 42002.
